Lots of great memories growing up swimming in the yarra, riding bikes, sleeping in the sleepout out back of Aunty Lucies. My condolences to the family. Love your cousin Rene xxx

Lisa Greenwoodsays:

Sonia was an active and valued member of the Ladies Auxiliary group at Yackandandah Health (formerly Yackandandah Bush Nursing Hospital) for over 25 years. Her contribution with the fundraising of this amazing group of ladies led to many improvements for the patients and residents at the Hospital and aged care units. Memories of Sonia in her apron at catering events, attending many meetings, and on the stall at the Hospital fetes, smile at the ready, is a treasured one. Great times! Sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Lisa Greenwoodsays:

Sonia (and husband Walter) joined us as residents at Yackatoon Retirement Village in 2013. During her time at Yackatoon Sonia was an active village member, making friends and being involved in many events, celebrations and activities. She loved her garden and was proud of the beautiful camellias she and Walter planted many years ago. She will be sadly missed around the Village. Sincere sympathies to Sonia’s family and friends. From the Board of Management and Residents at Yackatoon.
