Troy you were the type of person where you left a positive mark on every single person that was blessed to meet you. My parents Sue & Jeff Turner were close friends with your Mum & Dad. We run amok as young teenagers whenever our parents caught up. Even Mums younger sister Kate Brady had the privilege of your friendship. We are both heading down to our local pub tonight for a meal & a toast towards you. Deepest condolences to Sue, Gavin & your children & grandkids. Dad will have no doubt already of greeted you with a cold onexx See you both on the other side xx Angxxx

It’s been 25-odd years but Troy’s laugh is one that is never forgotten. Our memories of Troy are old ones, but we remember lots of laughs, loud music, drinks, and long chats. Our heartfelt condolences to you, Gav and Sue, to Cara and Dean and family, and to Ashleigh, Kayla, and Jake.
Here’s cheers to you Troy… I reckon Heaven would have had a hammock and a cold beer waiting for you mate.

I am thinking of Troy and all his loved ones at this time. Troy was an old school mate who even back then displayed the qualities that many today will remember him for fondly. Respect to the big fella. Richard, Ferny Grove High School.

I first met Troy in primary school, he was my first boyfriend and first proper kiss, he moved away and we didn’t catch up again until we were in our 40s, but we became firm friends, and messaged each other daily as well as talked, Troy was the most amazing friend you could ever have, we had so many laughs he was very witty and I will forever miss his made up words. Troy was my best friend, my rock, one of he most amazing humans I had the pleasure of calling my friend. He was such a proud father and grandfather, we became grandparents at around the same time, and he doted on the grandkids, sharing many stories and pictures with me, he loved spending time with his family and friends. My sincere condolences to Gavin, Sue, Cara, Kayla, Ash and their beautiful babies and Jake. Troy you are now breathing easy and having a beer at the local you will be so terribly missed by me for evermore.

After a few beers together at a fledgling Northern Territory Army barracks Booza, in the early 90’s. Little did I know, you were to have such an impact on my life. You always made me laugh, taught me not to take things so seriously and had my back. We will all miss you Herb.
