Brunette Nana its 17 years since we first met you in Mildura. Shane had a different name for you lot “The Beechworth Beaches”. But to us Kiwi’s the Nana’s suited you lot better. We had so much fun on those golf trips with you even though at times you were keeping some of us in line. It was because of our friendship & your great company that we kept going back year after year even if the golf wasnt so good. I can still hear you now when I asked how you went after a round and your reply often would be ”rat shit”. We have missed you for the last few trips to Mildura but glad we could spend time with you again last May. Your battle of the last couple of years is now over. Rest in Peace Lorraine.
Sorry we couldn’t be with you for Lorraines farewell, deepest sympathy to the family and remember many good Rock n Roll times.
Jock & Cath Cavanagh and family
Sorry to hear of Lorraines passing.I worked in Ingram ward at The Beechworth Health service for some years.Even though I worked with Lorraine I never really got to know her,I always found her to be quite reserved and a bit abrupt but I had the feeling under all that cover she was a gentle soul , I really wished that we could have sat down and had a chat ,I just wanted to give her a hug and say that everything would be ok,I hope that she is at peace
