Born on his Grandmother’s birthday, how Daisy loved her boy.
Cherished son of Betty and Bill (both dec).
Caring big brother of David.
Beloved and loving husband of Helen.
Dearly loved and proud father and pa of Stuart, Andrea, Parker, Eligh and Finlay, Andrew, Karin, Jason and Harriet, Lachlan, Clare, Jack, Max and Rosie.
He was quite simply our hero.

Funeral Details
The Memorial Prayers Service and Celebration of Life for Stephen will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 285 Beechworth Rd, Wodonga at 11:30am on Thursday, 10th September 2026.
Stephen’s service will be livestreamed and can viewed via the link below on the day of service.

Deepest sympathy to Helen and family and condolences too to all my fellow teachers at Wodonga High School where I taught with Foxie from 1980 to 1986.
Steve was much loved by his fellow colleagues and indeed to the many, many students whom he taught.
To me Steve was such a gentle soul and as my late father would say, “A Gentleman.”
I have very fond memories of Steve and his very unique sense of humour.
Many a footy tease and laugh was shared especially when good Old Fitzroy would knock the Bombers out of the elimination finals.
Great times indeed.
