I played soccer against Paul in juniors and with Paul in Reps 1976-81. He was a wonderful person and fun to be with. Now living in Qld, sad to read of his passing. All the best to his family.

This man was more than a friend he was a motivating mentor who brought out the mongrel in you! He new how to motivate you by any means possible! He would say things like, Kath can do it! And she could! He loved having company on a ride and sharing the time together over a BBQ and drink after a hard day’s ride. I cherished the group rides and group events he organised. He just loved seeing others push themselves and without us knowing it, learning how capable we really are! The harder the challenge the more you learned and grew mental toughness!
There was always something new to learn through experiences and nothing ever phased him! He so enjoyed showing others his playground, a hard grinding ride with amazing views and a cold creek to soak in!
Finally Milly was generous with his time and never expected anything in return! He will never leave my heart and mind!
Dearly loved adventurous cousin of Peter and Jenny, taken from us way too soon.
Deepest sympathy to Aunty Marg, Kath, Natasha and Dan.
Love from the Quinlivan and Lefoe families.
I’m still shocked to hear of Paul’s sudden passing ! I’ ll always cherish in memory of our challenging riding adventures and certainly one to which was very special indeed ! I will be away at the time and day his service but I’ll certainly be thinking of you Paul at that time with very fond memories indeed. Rest In Peace mate
Regards Stevie

On behalf of the AWSRA, we would like to send our sincere condolences for the loss of Paul. A wonderful person who inspired many people in life. Paul was a great asset to the footballing community over many years. We wish the family all the best in such difficult times. Whilst we are unable to attend in person, we will show our respects by attending online.

What a man Paul was. A motivated spirit that rubbed off on all those around him.
Thankyou for all your time and belief. I wholeheartedly believe that your influence has shaped the person I am today.
Thankyou Kath, Dan and Tash for sharing this incredible man. He will be dearly missed.
Sorry I couldn’t be there today.
We are so devastated to have lost a friend and team mate. What an adventurer – who inspired and encourage others to do amazing things.
Always remembered; forever grateful that we knew him and that he loved life.
My heartfelt condolences to Kath on losing her soulmate, and Natasha and Daniel on losing their beloved dad and grandchildren.
Had the privilege of enjoying you all with your company and presence when you stayed at our place some years ago now, in George Town Tasmania. Time has gotten away since, but you are often in my thoughts Paul. I look forward to being in Wodonga next month, and meeting the family and and especially Paul’s mum and sister.
RIP Paul.
We will meet again one day 💙
Love from Kerrie, Stephen, Scott, Adam & Aaron Zanevra 💙💙💙
Paul was and still is the most inspiring, beautiful soul in my life that showed me my potential and what is possible. You have created a wonderful legacy with your family through the passion you have bestowed upon everyone around you. I thank you from every cell in my body. Best of luck on your next journey.
Heartfelt condolences to Kath and family on what is a devastating loss. Will miss our friend and his adventuring spirit and inspiration. Grateful that we were able to know him, albeit for too short of a time. Thinking of you Kath on such a difficult day.
